Terms and Conditions
We all want to get out there and enjoy the amazing Lamborghini on the open road but like any responsibile business we need to cover off on some T&C's.
To ensure you get the maximum enjoyment from your Southern Supercar Drives experience and to avoid any unnecessary disappointment, please read over the following terms and conditions carefully as you are bound by these terms and conditions once an experience is purchased.
By purchasing an experience or an alternative service the below conditions apply unless otherwise stated and agreed to by Southern Supercar Drives PTY LTD (SSD).
1. Southern Supercars Drives PTY LTD
a. All experiences and services provided by SSD are delivered by the company and not a third party.
b. SSD reserves its rights to change, amend, withdraw or cancel any booking at its discretion for any reason; SSD will endeavour to provide reasonable notice to the customer. SSD remains committed to providing the arranged service as promised but sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances.
2. Participation Rules
a. All Participants who are booked to drive must be at least 25 years of age and be a maximum of 65 years of age and must have held a full unrestricted license for a minimum of 3 years.
b. The Participant must be of sound body and mind.
c. All Participants must be able to communicate in English and have an understanding of the Australian road rules.
d. Participants must follow the directions and commands of the experience instructor, failing to do so may cause the experience to be cancelled immediately
e. All Participants must obey the Australian road rules. Under no circumstances should the participant engage in any reckless, illegal or dangerous driving, including exceeding the speed limit.
f. All Participants must be a competent driver (If driving). If SSD at its discretion believed competence levels are not adequate the experience will be forfeited immediately.
g. The Participant must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. There is strict no alcohol or drugs policy and all Participants must be .00. If SSD suspects or believes the Participant is affected by any alcohol or substance the booked service will be cancelled immediately.
h. The Participant authorises SSD to enquire with the authority on any licensing queries.
i. SSD will require the Participant (If driving) to produce a full Australian driving license on the day of the experience. Failure to do so will result in the booking being cancelled.
j. SSD will take a copy of the produced driving license for insurance records. This record will be deleted on 30 days after completion of the experience.
k. If SSD believes that the produced documentation is not genuine, at its sole discretion SSD will cancel the booking.
l. All Participants must sign and agree to the wavier before the experience commences including acknowledgement of risk/Indemnity form on the day of the experience.
m. Participants must arrive at the location no less than 15 minutes before the scheduled experience start time.
n. Participants must not arrive late – Due to strict scheduling if you are late to arrive, your experience maybe cut short on time or be forfeited at the discretion of SSD, if SSD believed the late arrival will impact other bookings.
o. If the Participant does not attend the scheduled booking, regardless of excuse, the booking is classed as a forfeit – this includes (but is not limited to) weather conditions (see weather policy), work requirements, vehicle problems, family crisis and health problems.
p. Spectators are welcome at the departure/return locations but are not permitted by SSD to follow the experience car during the session. Whilst the roads the experience runs on are public roads and SSD acknowledges it cannot enforce the anti-following rule, it is noted this is a distraction to the driver and if SSD believes there is a following vehicle the experience will end and be forfeited.
q. Any infrindgements recieved post hire will be signed into the hirers name.
r. To ensure the vehicle remains in pristine condition, eating and drinking inside the supercar are strictly prohibited. Please make arrangements to enjoy any food or beverages before or after your drive.
s. Any damage to the interior of the vehicle will be charged to the driver. It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that the car is returned in the same condition as it was provided. Charges for interior damage will be deducted from the security bond.
3. Insurance and bond (Drivers only)
a. SSD provides an insured Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 for the experience.
b. All driving experiences require a standard Insurance excess bond of $10 000.
c. SSD offers an insurance excess reducer scheme which is available to purchase on the day of the experience.
d. On the day of the experience a valid credit card is required in the Participants name for a pre-authorised insurance bond.
f. The amount of insurance bond required is equal to the insurance excess applicable, Please ensure availble credit limits.
g. If a bond equal to the insurance excess cannot be applied than the booking with be forfeited.
4. Couples Hire
a. Couples hire is subjuct to the same Participation Rules as noted in section 2 with the below changes and ammendments.
i. Drivers must be 30 years and over; and
ii. Additional drivers attract a surcharge of $100 payable at pick up.
b. Couples hires is subject to the insurance and bond requirements as per section 3.
c. Any infringements recieved post hire will be signed into the hirers name.
d. If the hire is late to return late fees apply, $50 per 15 minutes.
4. Cancellation / Changes Policy / Refunds
a. Participants may postpone their experience to a later date providing they contact SSD at least 7 days prior to their scheduled experience. If a participant wishes to cancel, change or re book their experience within 7 days of their scheduled experience the participant will be charged a $99 re booking fee.
b. If the participant fails to attend their allocated expereince as allocated by SSD the particiapnt will forfiet the experience.
c. SSD reserves its rights to offer any refunds once an experience is purchased.
d. If any of the terms and rules are broken which results in an expereince being cancelled SSD will not refund this experience.
5. Weather
a. The experience is not affected by weather and will proceed in all-weather types. However if SSD, at its sole discretion believes the weather conditions are dangerous the experience will be cancelled and rescheduled.
b. If the weather is raining, the convertible roof will not be retracted.
6. What to Bring / Wear
a. Full Australian Driving licence and a second form of ID in the same name to be sighted – Mandatory
b. Wear sensible, driving shoes, must be closed toe. No thongs or sandals. - The Lamborghini has narrow pedals.
c. Camera, Sunglasses
d. Booking Confirmation email or sighted on a device
e. Credit card for bond (Drivers only)
7. The vehicle - 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4
a. All experiences and services are delivered using the SSD fully owned and maintained vehicle - no subsitutes
b. From time to time there maybe need to amend or adjust your booking to allow for maintenance and repairs. SSD endevour to complete all tasks in such a manner not to interfer with a Participants experience
c. If in the unfortunate event that a break down takes place on a Participants experience it is at the sole desrection of SSD if any compensation is to be offered.
8. Governing Law
a. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. SSD and each purchaser and participant submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria in respect of these terms and any dispute between them.
